We (Cairdeas) had a a great time in skagen and Lidkoping playing at the festivals there. All the gigs were extremely enjoyable (even the 10 am one). Loved playing in the large venue at Skagen in front of a big crowd. Both Carlos Nunez and the Chieftains and their respective bands were extremely nice to work with and made me feel very welcome. Much appreciated.

Looking forward to playing with the Carlos Nunez Band and the Chieftains at the Sunday concert, on 3rd July at Skagen Festival, Should be a great night. I'm looking forward to hearing Dougie MacLean there too!

Had a good short tour with Cairdeas in Switzerland again. Just Colin and I have been doing 4 gigs whilst Iain stays at home to do a BBC broadcast. Some memorable moments. Will be good to back home on Monday (tomorrow).

Enjoyed the gig at the Town Bar in Dundee on 18th September. Despite a low turnout they managed to raise a fair amount for Cancer Research. A small but enthusiastic crowd!

Had a great night at the Glenfarg Folk feast Ceilidh. Brilliant crowd of people who got up for every dance. Some nice singing too! going back on Sunday night to hear Michael Marra.
